Alpha Channel Codec Comparison-PNG FTW!

the PNG codec which supports Alpha channel, appears to be vastly superior for my needs, Where have you been hiding!?!

no noticeable image degradation, beautiful!!

Quicktime codecs with Alpha channel..PNG or Animation?

I just read up on a note that was posted in the Apple Quicktime Message board, saying the "PNG" codec is superior to the "Animation" codec for alpha channel video, especially for playback. I am testing the same Sketchup video back to back to see if I get smoother playback in Quartz Composer for these videos. That is a potentially exciting bit of discovery...if you're a giant video Nerd! I'm sure you are all on the edge of your seats waiting for the results, I know I am! :)
